Our Bars & Restaurant
The Kings Arms offers two public bars. Our Lounge Bar provides a range of premium draught beverages (including a local ale brewed just across the road) in a relaxed atmosphere, while our smaller front bar offers a range of gins, prosecco and coffee. Both bars have lovely real fires for warming those Scottish Winter evenings.
Our restaurant provides a healthy range of good value pub food made from delicious fresh local produce.
Restaurant Menu Served Monday to Saturday
Provenance - Wherever possible we buy from local farmers and growers. We use seasonal produce and try to make sure our menu reflects that. Citrus fruits come in from Southern Europe and some other items from further afield, however imported produce makes up just a small sample of our menu. Our aim is to use the best possible local produce from meat, seafood, fish, fruit & vegetables and dairy. Our meat is mainly Scottish with a little from Cumbria. Fish comes from UK waters. We try and source most of our cheeses from Scottish suppliers, using small interesting artisan producers where we can, Lakeland cheese makers make up the difference. Chutneys and sauces are made on site as are all cakes and biscuits.
